One of Alan John Miller‘s followers is a British woman Louise “Luli” Faver, aged 39, a former neuroscientist who gave up her career to be closer to Miller’s home near the small town of Kingaroy in the state of Queensland, SkyNews reported on Wednesday. Miller runs the religious movement, which he calls Divine Truth, from the home.
“It’s just nice to instead of being surrounded by people who think you are nuts, to be surrounded by people who understand what you are going through and the difficulties of trying to deal with all the emotional stuff,” Faver told the broadcaster.
Dozens of other people have reportedly bought properties in the area to be closer to Miller.
According to the report, Miller denies he started the movement to make money, saying instead that “donations are welcome but not mandatory”.
