What goes around, comes around.  Karma has returned to bite him on the backside. Franchise owner has been forced to sell by Gull Oil: 

Masterton Night ’n Day and Gull operator Nick Lucas is selling the franchise after an outcry over revelations that he docked employees’ wages when customers drove-off without paying

Nick Lucas confirmed he was selling the Masterton Night ‘n Day convenience store franchise, which also operates the town’s Gull petrol station, after a public backlash that followed revelations that he docked employees’ wages when customers stole fuel.

“I am going to sell . . . I’ve got a guy who’s going to buy,” he said. The sale would be finalised “in a matter of days”.

Masterton employment lawyer Jills Angus Burney said she had received information that Lucas had been forced to sell by Gull and Night ‘n Day after boycott calls.
