I liked this story I read in one of our Sunday papers this morning. A great story out of Britain for Christmas! Ok, its past Christmas, but its a good story anyway!

A man who lent $13.23 to a cashstrapped Australian while travelling through Europe has had his loan repaid – almost 40 years later and with interest.

Jim Webb, now a 72 year old, recently found $517.00 and a note at his home in Sheffield, England.

It read: “To Jim Webb, a good man. From Gary Fenton, a tardy payer of debts”.

Webb had lent the money to Fenton in 1969 to enable him to catch a ferry from Belgium to Britain.

    Nice story!
